Our mission is to rescue, educate, and promote responsible lifetime ownership. Our vision is a society with compassion and kindness, toward pit bull type dogs. We will help build a community, without prejudice or breed specific legislation.  Don't Bully Us Rescue is a Philly and NJ area, foster-based, pit bull and bully breed rescue.

Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999. To date, we have around 60 members of BCAA. We focus primarily on rescue and adoption of shelter dogs and cats from Burlington County and surrounding areas. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.   https://www.bcaaofnj.org/

RBARI Campus       2 Shelter Lane    Oakland, NJ 07436

Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. is founded on the belief that all animals have a natural right to humane treatment including proper care and safe shelter. Due to overpopulation, there are insufficient homes for many homeless cats and dogs. Some are lucky enough to find temporary shelter and a few even find permanent homes. However, it is a devastating fact that the majority are either euthanized or forced to chance life without shelter.

Pet Therapy at Oakland Living Assisted Care Center

Oakland Care Center         20 Breakneck Rd        Oakland, NJ 07436

Jethro is a rescued Great dane therapy dog --rescued from a pet store by Kathy & Steve Wyder -spends time with dozens of patients during a two-hour visit each Sunday at Oakland Care Center, a 215-bed nursing home on a leafy hillside in Oakland. Developmentally disabled residents also welcome Jethro & owner Kathy Wyder of Oakland once a month at Spectrum for Living in Closter.

During his nursing home visits, Jethro trots silently from room to room. He licks the faces of patients who like it and dutifully spares those who don't. If anything, his size is an asset to wheelchair-bound and bedridden patients who cannot bend down."The residents truly look forward to his visits," the center's administrator, Alyse Jasinski, Jethro was named to NJ veterinary group's hall of fame. http://www.oaklandcarecenter.com/
