The 10th Annual New Jersey Week for the Animals is scheduled for 2024.
Join us in planning this returning historic week for New Jersey animals!
(Covid 19 precautions prevented our celebrations 2020-2023.)
Visit the Animal World USA International website at www.weeksfortheanimals.org to see how other weeks have been celebrated including UK Week for the Animals
which precedes New Jersey Week for the Animals.
Throughout the week, shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting wonderful animal-related special events. Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens across will be joining in with activities to celebrate and help animals.
Events will include adoption fairs, spay/neuter events, shelter & sanctuary days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, educational activities for farm animals and therapy dogs visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes.
Also to be included are a salute to our K-9 military and working dogs, nature activities, cat initiatives, educational opportunities, blessing for the animals, and fun-filled festival days for families to come and enjoy food, music and the amazing animals!
Please become involved! We urge animal lovers everywhere to come together and plan. See the "Become Involved" page for great ideas and suggestions on what you can do. Please contact us to organize, for ideas and to brainstorm on events to help the animals.
Note we will be adding events and activities up to and during the week. We all seek to collectively help and come together during the special New Jersey Week for the Animals! Together we will create new, lasting friendships and make history for the amazing animals. God Bless the great state of New Jersey.
